Two Guys Bow Ties™ are made from a variety of rare and exotic pieces of hardwood. Sourced throughout the world, product materials include African Zebrawood, Peruvian Walnut, South American Bocote, Canary and more. A range of diverse patterns such as argyle, plaid, polka dot, and more are laser etched into the wood making them both increasingly unique and attractive. Each bow tie also incorporates an array of fine fabrics resulting in a truly special accessory.
At bamb-u, our aim is to ethically make, premium quality, sustainable products that will turn heads, while give something back at the same time. Our watches and sunglasses are made from sustainably farmed, premium A-grade bamboo and have high quality components, including: Japanese made, Citizen Miyota movements, TAC UV400 polarised lenses, stainless steel clasps, hinges, screws and link pins and come with free shipping.
Why did we choose bamboo and not wood to make our products? While we think wooden products look beautiful, the sustainability of wooden products was too questionable for us. The types of timbers used in the production of many wooden watches and sunglasses are on endangered and or black lists. So for us it was an ethical choice. Not to mention that bamboo is such an awesome product.
Benefits of bamboo:
Bamboo needs little to no water to grow. There is no need for the use of fertilisers or pesticides. Bamboo regenerates it’s self after being harvested and grows to full size within 4 years, not 40 years like most hardwoods. Bamboo is very durable and lightweight which makes our products extra comfortable. By using bamboo, we are helping communities that have otherwise failed crops make a proper living by farming bamboo.
It is so simple and such an easy thing to change, from plastic to a sustainable, reusable and beautiful product. We are two girls from two stunning parts of coastal Australia (Byron Bay and Torquay) with a commitment to the environment. Our skincare products are made to the standard of the European Union, arguably the strictest cosmetic regulatory standard worldwide. While this significantly impacts on the cost of manufacturing, we strongly believe that going beyong minimum requirements is what our customers deserve.
The cornerstone of the EU cosmetic standard is that all products are subject to a formalized safety assesment. The assessment requires that all products have to undergo challenge testing and stability testing. Also, the labelling regulations require a more specific declaration of ingredients than in many other regions.

Da Vinci was an inventor, painter, engineer, botanist, architect, sculptor, scientist, musician, mathematician, anatomist, geologist, astronomer, cartographer, botanist, historian and writer. He embodies the Renaissance humanist ideal like no other.
OUR LACES
All of our laces are made from 100% waxed cotton and are designed in Melbourne. As our laces are made to compliment quality shoes, we take great pride in the quality of our laces.
Our laces are come in two lengths 75cm and 120cm and are 3mm in diameter. The classics range feature a 2.5mm width to suit dress shoes which are more likely to have smaller eyelets.
The 75cm suits most shoes with 2-5 eyelets and we have seen our 75cm length laces fit into an 8 eyelet shoe, but this season have introduced a 120cm to cater for some extra length.
As always we recommend testing the lengths with your own shoes before purchasing as every shoe is different.
